The Ridiculous Price On Players (18/11/2012 18:43)

Hello,

My name is The Human Machine and I am here to once again share my opinion on one of the few problems I find in Managerleague. So, without further ado sit back, get comfy and let's begin.

The issue I will be discussing today is the ridiculous price tags there are on players in managerleague. Whether it's has to do with a player that's been transfer listed, put up for loan or is a free agent their buying price is unnaceptable. For example, there are some players that when they they decide to sell a player that, I don't know, is rated 70-75 you'd see the LOWEST asking price as 1,000,000 and the HIGHEST asking price as 10,000,000. That's....just.....STUPID! I am sorry for getting pissed off but the ammount of money asked to be given for just one player, not regarding whether he's 80/85/90, is just unfair if a managerleague player desperately needs a player in a certain position. I think that steps need to be taken or even a function needs to be added so that sellers can put a maximum ammount of money for lower and higher rated players. Truth be told, even with this functuion lower level players might have a fair price tag but the higher level players might still have a higher price tag. Either way, it's still go a long way towards improving life for the lesser financially stable teams and it'll give them at leats a fighting chance not to be dragged under and have a goalkeeper playing as a striker or a striker playing as a defender. Hope this article is seen by the higher-ups here at managerleague and I hope they take notice of this.

Anyway, comment below what you think abouth this. Let your voices be heard.

This is The Human Machine signing out, peace

Adrian, I do agree with half of what you said.

Yes, everyone is entitled to put whatever price value they want FOR THE PLAYER THAT DESERVES IT.  Even you have to admit that putting high prices on lowel level players isn't fair. Are you telling me that when you started playing Managerleague that you didn't struggle to get good players? Please, everyone struggles and cointinued to struggle while others didn't.

And yes again, The England Tornadoes have not been the great team I envisioned them to be quite honestly. I don't why you needed to take a shot at them. They have nothing to do with this article. I am not attacking anyone in this article, not managerleague players or the teams, I'm just stating my opinion like others do here in Managerleague.

True enough, I could ask other more experienced players for help on my financial dificulties but I choose not to because I don't need their help. I don't need to have a lot of money to have a great team. I am very proud of how my team has coped through fiancial instabillity for the past 20 seasons and now. All this article is is opinion based. No need for other players to pick apart another team or player for their faults.

That's all I have to say.

It's funny how you are asking us to let "our voices be heard", but you delete the comments that you don't like. The reality is this: if a player's asking price is too great, nobody would pay for him. So the market is pretty much dictated by the managers; their values are just estimative. You can buy a 17 year old Q65 player, and if you manage to get him to Q 80 by the time he is 21, you will start the money flow, a momentum that can only be positive and help you buy better youth, and sell them faster for more money.

There are many ways to make money, but this is the safest.

I didn't delete your comment, my managerleague copy isn't good and sometimes delete's peoples comments.

I agree with your comments, but there isn't always a guarantee a player at the age of 17 and the quality of 65 will be a star individual in the future.

If he is projected as a valuable asset going forward, then your suggestion makes sense.

That's why people buy more of them, so there is at least one that makes you more money. I see you in a dead end otherwise, how do you plan to make money?

I am just wondering how you are planning to progress in this game. You complain players are too expensive; from that I understand you don't have enough money, so I offered a solution. Hope it helps.
