New Team, New Start (23/09/2013 12:05)

 Hello,

It is I, The Human Machine, here once again with my 8th blog on ManagerLeague. I apologize for the lack of posts on my behalf as I have rather busy preparing my team for the next season. As you may or may not know I have relinquished the reigns at The England Tornadoes and have taken up the managerial position at The Macedonian Maulers. My desicion was based solely on the fact that I brought the maximum that people would expect of the England Tornadoes and thus sought a new challenge with The Macedonian Maulers. There are a lot of standout players and hidden gems in this team and I will do my outmost to push them to their full potential. With a bigger budget and plenty of options expect heavy spending to improve this team whether and wherever necessary. That is all on my behalf, stay tuned for my next blog which should be up either today or tomorrow.

Regards,

Congratulations And Thank You ManagerLeague :) (19/04/2013 13:59)

Hello everyone,

The Human Machine back once again to bring you a blog for your enjoyment. In this short blog I as well as The England Tornadoes wish to thank the creators of this great game for our time here. We have had some ups and downs, praises and critical comments but at the end of the day this is a great game. We have began our campaign 27 seasons ago and hope to hope to get closer to the 50th mark as well as how ManagerLeague will want to hit the 150 season mark. But it would be even sweeter to finish in first place on this landmark for the 1st time in 10 seasons. Once again, thank you for everything.

The Human Machine out.

Aston Villa VS Fulham FC April.13/2013 (12/04/2013 11:52)

Hello everyone,

The Human Machine back once again to bring you a blog worthy of your gander. I do apologize for the lengthy delay since my last blog, I have been preoccupied with The England Tornadoes and trying to sort out our injury problems. Nevertheless I am back and the topic of discussion today is the match between Aston Villa And Fulham.

In their last match, Aston Villa won 3-1 away to Stoke City in a commanding display albeit one that we have not seen very often this season. If Villa can keep the momentum from this match going into the game against Fulham, and do the same for the 5 matches they have left in the Premier League, they could as well finish comfortably some way out of the relagation zone.

Fulham go into this match with a point to prove. Courtesy of their 1-0 loss last time against Newcastle, there have been some rumours that Fulham could potentially slip into the relagation zone if they don't start being consistent. With 6 games left after this one(5 of which are games against teams in the Top 10) Fulham will need to regain their the momentum they had in the games prior to the loss at Newcastle. A couple of poor showing at the perinnial climax of the season could have you scrambling for survival(Ask Reading).

My Expected Starting XI For Aston Villa(4-5-1):                                                                                                          My Expected Starting XI For Fulham(4-4-2):

GK: Brad Guzan.                                                                                                                                                              GK: Mark Schwarzer.

RB: Matthew Lowton.                                                                                                                                                      RB: Aaron Hughes.

CB: Ron Vlaar.                                                                                                                                                                  CB: Philippe Senderos.

CB: Nathan Baker.                                                                                                                                                           CB: Brede Hangeland.

LB: Joe Bennett.                                                                                                                                                               LB: John Arne Riise.

DM: Fabian Delph.                                                                                                                                                           RM: Eyong Enoh.

RM: Charles N'Zogbia.                                                                                                                                                    CM: Giorgios Karagounis.

CM: Barry Bannan.                                                                                                                                                           CM: Kieran Richardson.

LM: Jordan Bowery.                                                                                                                                                          LM: Damien Duff.

AM: Gabriel Agbonlahor.                                                                                                                                                  ST: Bryan Ruiz.

ST: Christian Benteke.                                                                                                                                                     ST: Dimitar Berbatov.

It is a tough match to call, but I predict a 1-1 or 2-2 draw in a back and forth match.

An this is my prediction for Aston Villa VS Fulham. Comment if you want who you think will win and stay tuned as I will be posting more predictions for tomorrow's matches later today.

The Human Machine Out.

Aston Villa VS Arsenal November 24/2012 (20/11/2012 11:31)

Hello,

The Human Machine once again brings you an article for your enjoyment. I've only done this kind of thing once before, over a year ago. I will be talking about a match scheduled to take place this Saturday in the Premier League. I am talking about Aston Villa VS Arsenal. To most people the victor of this match is a no-brainer and can't envision anything other than an Arsenal victory. I will tell you why I don't think this wont be an easy match...

Let's start with Arsenal. In their last match, they came away 5-2 winners against 10-man Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates. An impressive victory, considering that they were a goal down and that the man that scored and was sent off was a former Arsenal player. After the sending off, Arsenal equalised, took the lead and never looked back. They still spurned chances and looked complacent even when in front. If Arsenal do manage to lead against Aston Villa but get complacent again there is a high chance that Villa will make Arsenal pay. Arsene Wenger will need to sort out the complacency issue before Saturday.

Now with Aston Villa. To be brutally honest, Aston Villa just aren't the same team. I mean ok they have sparks In Marc Albrighton, Christian Benteke and Gabby Agbonlahor but that's basically it. Darren Bent hasn't been impressive but he'll probably be back in time for the match if he recovers from his ankle injury. Emile Heskey (one of their best playmakers) is gone. Shay Given is barely given playing time. Villa did seriously suprise me in their 3-2 loss to Man U though. I thought it would be a slaughter but Villa actually came close to winning. That being said, they were slaughtered 5-0 at the Etihad Stadium by Manchester City. If Villa can regain the same mentality for victory they had against United, they could really prove spoiler against Arsenal.

Here are the 2 teams I expect to be fielded on Saturday.....

Arsenal(4-5-1):

GK: Vito Mannone

RB: Bacary Sagna

CB: Thomas Vermaelen

CB: Per Mertesacker

LB: Johan Djourou

DM: Aaron Ramsey

RM: Mikel Arteta

CM: Jack Wilshere

LM: Theo Walcott

AM: Olivier Giroud

ST: Lukas Podolski

Aston Villa(4-4-2):

GK: Brad Guzan

RB: Eric Lichaj

CB: Ron Vlaar

CB: Ciaran Clark

LB: Matthew Lowton

RM: Marc Albrighton

CM: Barry Bannan

CM: Andreas Weimann

LM: Stephen Ireland

ST: Gabby Agbonlahor

ST: Christian Benteke

All in all, I see Arsenal winning 2-0/2-1

Hope you enjoyed the article and I'm sorry if it's long. Tomorrow I'll be writing an article for a Premier League match on Sunday so look out for that. I'm thinking about reviewing every match for next week's Premier League action. Let me know what you guys think...

The Human Machine out.

The Ridiculous Price On Players (18/11/2012 18:43)

Hello,

My name is The Human Machine and I am here to once again share my opinion on one of the few problems I find in Managerleague. So, without further ado sit back, get comfy and let's begin.

The issue I will be discussing today is the ridiculous price tags there are on players in managerleague. Whether it's has to do with a player that's been transfer listed, put up for loan or is a free agent their buying price is unnaceptable. For example, there are some players that when they they decide to sell a player that, I don't know, is rated 70-75 you'd see the LOWEST asking price as 1,000,000 and the HIGHEST asking price as 10,000,000. That's....just.....STUPID! I am sorry for getting pissed off but the ammount of money asked to be given for just one player, not regarding whether he's 80/85/90, is just unfair if a managerleague player desperately needs a player in a certain position. I think that steps need to be taken or even a function needs to be added so that sellers can put a maximum ammount of money for lower and higher rated players. Truth be told, even with this functuion lower level players might have a fair price tag but the higher level players might still have a higher price tag. Either way, it's still go a long way towards improving life for the lesser financially stable teams and it'll give them at leats a fighting chance not to be dragged under and have a goalkeeper playing as a striker or a striker playing as a defender. Hope this article is seen by the higher-ups here at managerleague and I hope they take notice of this.

Anyway, comment below what you think abouth this. Let your voices be heard.

This is The Human Machine signing out, peace

Players Retiring And Players For Sale (05/09/2012 15:33)

Hello,

It is I, The Human Machine and I am here to report good and bad news. The bad news is that 3 of our England Tornadoes stellar players, Michael Carrick, Ashley Young and Shardul Shatrun Yateen have decided to call it quits. The 3 players have retired due to old age and have wished us the best this season. We wish them the best likewise and hope they achieve sucess in any other profession they choose to pursue. The good news is that we have other players in our squad hungry to make their mark and a get a starting spot in first XI,but if one thing is for sure not one of them will be able to give the dedication and heart our 3 retirees did in every match. We have put some players on the transfer market because we consider them surplus to requirements. If anyone wishes to make an offer for them can go to our team page and submit an offer. Thank you for taking the time to read article and once again, goodbye and good luck to Carrick, Young and Yateen.

Regards,

The Human Machine And The England Tornadoes.

New Division, New Start. (03/03/2012 11:03)

 Hello,

I am here to talk about our great season so far.We are currently 5th placed in Dividion 5 and the season is not close to being over. It goes without saying that me and each individual on the pitch or staff have worked very hard to get here and are not about to be knocked out easily. We have a lot of talent, both veterans and prospects, which i think can accomplich the task of getting a top 3 if not the top stop in the league. And also while its been a long time since our last trophy,i see silverware in our future.

Thanks For Listening,

The Human Machine And The England Tornadoes.

PS:Thanks for the 706 views i got on my first blog Manchester United VS Chelsea May.8 Premier League.

Manchester United VS Chelsea May.8 Premier League (06/05/2011 16:00)

Hi Guys,

This is going to be the 1st of my many blogs. Now lets get down to business on the topic at hand. Keep in mind that this topic is my opinion of the match, so please no rude comments.Post your opinion,Thank you.

I am going to look at this match from the hosts point of view first.

Being a Manchester United Supporter, you are probably thinking "O boy, this guy is gonna bash Chelsea in this boring blog". On the contrary,I have respect for what they have accoplished as a team and I will say positive things about them.

United, i think, will definitely be boosted by the 2nd leg semi-final 4-1 win over Schalke 04 and also to have van der sar at the top of his game, ferdinand and vidic back in the squad, scholes and giggs dominating the midfield and rooney and hernandez great partnership upfront. a 1-0 loss at arsenal's emirates stadium, made me think it might shake their confidence, yet I was proved very wrong. If i was Sir Alez Ferguson Here is the lineup i would go for and why.

Manchester United 4-4-2

GK:E. Van Der Sar- I dont think I need to explain it. His performances recently show it would be utterly bonkers to leave him out of this Starting 11.

RB:J. O'Shea- He had a silent night Schalke apart from Jurado's goal. He strung nice long and short passes to teammates making runs.

CB:R. Ferdinand- Unlucky not win against Arsenal, he along with Evra were the only ones to influence the united defence, (surprisingly poor perfomance by Vidic in that match). He should perform as well as he did then and put the nononsense tackles like he did against the Gunners and United should see a clean sheet on Sunday.

CB:N.Vidic- The Serbian Defender was on the bench against Schalke, but not icluded in the 4-1 romping. Hopefully he can pick himself up from the poor performasnce against Arsenal and help Ferdinand pin back the likes of Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka.

LB:P.Evra- He and Ferdinand were the only 2 players with any effort but not enough as arsenal dealth a 1-0 blow to their hopes of taking the trophy from Stamford Bridge.

RM:Nani- The Portugal Winger had a decen game, despite not doing as good as Ferdinand or Evra, against the Gunners.Unsurprisingly, there were others who looked lost out there so you don't know who/if you can blame anyone for that result. Yet the Cape Verde born midfielder speed and skills are something to raise some alarm bells for the Blues back line.

CM:P.Scholes- The England Born Midfielder was sent off in the fa cup semi-final against man. city. the result ended 1-0 to city, knocking manchester united out of the competition. Should he be available against Chelsea, He along with Giggs should prove instrumental in midfield yet again against their rivals.

CM:M.Carrick- Has had a jarred season.Injuries and suspensions have been the main cause ,but I think he can pull of some decent display against their Sunday Opponents.

LM:R.Giggs: The Welsh Wizard will look put his magic again for the last time against chelsea with 2 other Premier League games at hand and a Champions League final, the Winger is at the top of his game.

RS:W.Rooney- The England Striker, after a poor start to his 2010/2011 season, has had a good run of form, a good partnership alongside javier hernandez, and 10 goals in the premier league this season. I look for ror to threaten the chealse backline with the Mexican attack partner.

LS:J.Hernandez(Chicharito)- The Mexican striker, scoring 12 goals this season and an  instant impact at United I expect him to start against the Blues.

Now on to Chelsea.

They have been on a roll of 4 wins in a row with West Bromwich Albion, Birmingham City, West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspurs taking cover from the infusion of goals.

Malouda leading the Chelsea scoring charts with 13 goals should be included in the squad.

I dont think there is a lot more to say so let's show my expected Chelsea Lineup.

Chelsea FC 4-4-2

GK:P. Cech- Having started all 35 games for Chelsea, The Czech Republic GK will look to close down shots from the likes of Rooney,Hernandez and Scholes.

RB:J. Bosingwa- 13 starts from 20 games, will cover the flank and will have the responsibility to hold down Nani or Giggs on the wings.

CB:J. Terry- A valuable defender that Chelsea will need to close down Rooney or Hernandez.

CB:Alex- Has made 12 appearances this season(2 from the bench), and will look to help Terry with the marking of United's top strikers.

LB:A. Cole- Along with Cech, he has started all of Chelsea's games this season, Cole will be needed to keep Scholes from making breakaway passes to teammates.

RM:F. Malouda- Chelsea's leading goalscorers, Malouda should look to combine with Drogba and Anelka to create scoring chances like each have done before.

CM:M. Essien- The Midfield Magician should look to put his magic to work and long balls upfield would eventually have the United defence crack.

CM:J.O. Mikel- Has started 26 games this season, and should combine with Essien to give a good passing unit and give extra cover for the defence.

LM:Ramires- Noable in my opinion for that un-penalised(was he fined?) foul on Rooney earlier this season, will Wayne be carrying a grudge and do the same to Ramires?

RS:D.Drogba- 11 games from 34 games(5 sub. starts) the Ivorian scored in the 2nd leg against united as a sub but chelsea still lost and crashed out 3-1 on aggregate. Will The Ivorian and his Teammates be looking to take away United title regainal hopes and retain the Title themselves?

LS:S. Kalou- He scored 10 goals from 29 games(14 sub. starts), can he score at united and overtake Drogba as Chelsea's 2nd leading goalscorer?

This is the lineups I expect to see Sunday.

If these are ,or are close to, the lineups on Sunday it will be a great match.

By the way, I donb't know if there are injured or suspended players in the lineup, but i hope you like like the lineups i thought of for the match.

Down The Wire Match to say. But I Say United Will Win 2-1,2-0.4/10 United Will Win, 3/10 Chelsea Will Win, 3/10 A Draw

Post who you should be in the starting 11 for both teams.

Salutations,

The England Tornadoes Manager
