Back in the days, I started playing ManagerLeague. I signed on in season 8 (where we're now finishing season 170...). My first blog was on 05-08-2016, so over 12 years ago! I literally spend hours and hours on this fantastic game. When I started I was a student at high school, enjoying spare time, study a little and have fun all around. Nowadays I'm a municipal official, working 36 hours a week, having a wonderful wife and two lovely daughters. How things have changed! Mind you, having fun still exists :) Since I started playing ML my teams has performed quite balanced. Starting in International Division 5, promoting up to division 3. Then I switched voor 2 seasons to the English Division (at that time I lived in Wales for a while), after I switched definately to the Dutch leagues in season 28. Somehow, my team achieved the impossible by promoting to the Dutch 1st Division in season 52 (which ended in the same season). After that "we" spent several seasons switching between 2nd and 3rd division, untill we decided to step up and at least stay in 2nd Division. We've managed to do so since season 130 upto and including now (so for 40 seasons in a row). Maybe it's time to step up again and aim (once more) for the 1st Division. However, such an achievement takes time (literally) and effort, which both aren't at my exposal right now. It looks like we'll be "dreaming" a bit longer To conclude this blog, I was wondering how many managers are still playing from the beginning(-ish)? Just leave a post :)
