My arrival into the world of managerleague.com was interesting to say the least. I happened to join after the end of the regular season, and found that my team, now called Syracusians, had won the league and was also in the final of the department cup!  

The following day was the final, and after a great match, Syracusians beat the bot team 1-0. The monetary bonus was very welcome, considering the fact that I had not really done anything to this point, apart from start the upgrade to the stadium capacity. So I decided that I should invest some of this earned cash into the team directly, and spent close to $10m on a 17 year old Croatian defender.

My main hope was that when the new season started I would find myself with at least one other human opponent in the league, but I also hoped that I could survive in the 4th tier of American soccer.

On a personal note I am not trying to fill the shoes of my predecessor. But I do want what he would want, and that is to get the very best from the team. They know there will be some changes, and anyone under Q60  will be more than likely leaving, apart from the kids.
