Klaas-Jan Huntelaar (09/12/2008 19:57) |
Again, a great player of the current Ajax squad is leaving the Netherlands... After Ajax cashed in on Ryan Babel and Wesley Sneijder in 2007, this time Nr 1 striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar is leaving... He's going to Real Madrid for a nice 27 million euro's. Somehow, it's a bit strange... A week ago, rumours of him leaving soon, showed up again, after a final 40 million euro's bid of Man City just before the start of the season was rejected. And now, 5 months later, he's leaving for "only" 27 million... Of course, Real Madrid is one of the greatest clubs in the world (KJH always said he only wanted to leave for one of the biggest clubs) and everybody at Ajax wishes him all the best with all sincerity, but still... We will miss him, too much, I am afraid... There's no proper striker left who can fill the gap KJH is leaving at the club, and that's going to cost Ajax, I think... We've got Luis Suarez, who's a great talent, but no pure stiker; 'Mikky Sulejmanie (same story) and Dario Cvitanich, who hasn't shown a thing so far... So, we're facing problems here... But we'll see how we'll manage...
Here some pictures we won't see again (because of KJH in Ajax-shirt ;) ):

We will miss him... |
