Rough Start to new Season, Transfers Upcoming? (22/04/2008 04:21) |
Dorchester FC has had a rough start to season 35 as they have suffered an opening day loss to InSaNiTy 3-0 away and gave up a penalty shot to earn a draw at home against traeff fc 1-1. The team is not feeling as down about this as you might expect however. "We knew our opening schedule would be hard, with some of the hardest teams in our league playing us early," said manager T.K. Bomber. However, that is no excuse for giving up a penalty in a game I felt we were controlling. We had a very good team on the ropes in traeff fc and we gave away 2 points. We need wins early to build our record so we can get out of the relegation zone. Anything less then that right now is unacceptable. Management is considering selling its new talent midfielder Allen Page (Player ID: 5911821) depending on results in the next few games. The board gave us this message. Depending on how this team does in the next 4-6 matches, Allen Page might be better for this team as a chip to bring in slightly older and similarly talented players as opposed to helping out our team on the field. We value Mr. Page at what we are told he is worth, but if the teams fortunes stay similar, we might need to look at our options. Other players can be sold, but our analysts say that Mr. Page is the ideal candidate for a transfer since many clubs value youth and a good talent level that we believe he has. We wish our team good luck in its games and hopefully we can keep this team on its winning ways from last season. |
