So the final came down to GrannyRobo vs Jake The Muss - It is always either Robo or myself but the common denominator in every final is Jake playing and beating us. Once again it was Robo's turn as he tried to avenge his loss in the Australian Open VII.

The Wrap up: The season 31 iteration of the Aussie Open went off without any hitches and hopefully the managers involved enjoyed the opportunity to compete against other Aussie teams in a custom cup format. The total spectator count for the tournament was1,043,875 (up 2,450 on last season) with approximate takings of nearly $34 million (up a little bit on last season) . The organisers wish to see you all come back to compete in the Aussie Open again next season.
Congratulations to the best of the Australian Managers for Season 31:
Jake The Muss
Manager of Wellington Phoenix FC
