Welcome to the ManagerLeague Manual

The idea of this manual is to give you answers to questions and details you might not find elsewhere. We have tried to structure it logically based on the same sections or pages that you find in the game. If you have a question about something, try to think of which section is most likely to be connected to what you are wondering, and check out the corresponding manual-section.

We are also developing a Guide for new players here, those links are at the bottom of the menu to the left. We strongly urge you to read through it all.

Basic knowledge
To play ManagerLeague, there are a few points of basic knowledge you need to understand.

You are only allowed to play 1 team
It is against the rules to play or access more than 1 account, regardless of the reason. You may not create accounts for anyone and you may not help someone and log into their team while they are on vacation. One man, one team. Plain and simple. We will delete your teams if you have more than 1, so don't say you were not warned.

The League System
Every team in ManagerLeague belongs to a League, a Division and a Department.

A department is a group of 16 teams playing against each other during a season.

A division contains 1 or many departments, depending on which division it is. The league-system in ManagerLeague looks like a pyramid, with only 1 department in the top divisions, 4 departments in the second division, 16 departments in the third division and so on.

A league is simply all divisions belonging to a league, for instance The English League.
Up until season 25, there is only 1 league where everyone is playing, but in season 25 this will change, and we will split the game into several regional leagues, like The English League, The Swedish League, The Norwegian League and so on.

So, to describe where your team is playing, you can say something like:
"I'm playing in the International League, in Division3, Department 4"

Credits
Credits is a term that is much used in ManagerLeague. A credit is a token currency you can use to do special things in the game, like playing friendlies, joining or creating cups, exchange it to in-game money and a lot more.
Credits are also what pays for the development of ManagerLeague, as you can purchase them for real money if you run out.
Every season, you will get a number of them for free (currently 10).
In addition, you can earn more free credits if your players win "awards", like the best youth, top-scorer and so on. There are plenty of awards handed out every season, so it is not that hard.
You can also win credits if your team is promoted or wins a cup.
You can also exchange in-game money to credits, if you have too much money.
