How hard can it be to just move the servers downtown and start them up?
Hehe, my back tells me it was far from easy, but all things considered it went pretty well.

We have been lucky enough to get our hands on some fairly cheap office-space downtown, sharing offices with a few other companies. A fairly central location, and easy to get to from the subway. A bitch when it comes to parking-spaces, but hey :)

It means I won't sit all alone all day anymore, which is very good, and there are some cool companies that we share our space with. It also means we now have a dedicated real server-room, which is far better than blowing half our office on noisy fans and a lot of heat :)

This coming week, I will install the small network we need for my workstation to work properly, and me and chairman will do the official move-in very soon.

I hope everythign has gone all right with the DNS-setup and our new IPs, and that the upgrade of the Database-server will show some positive results when it comes to the speed of the ticks. I wouldn't be surprised if it takes a little tweaking to get the most of it, but we will cross one bridge at the time, eh (-:

I hope you will all have a good season, allthough I realize we are into a periode of vacations and lower activity for many people.
