After some long nights, some carefull planning, and some very cunning coding, our own home-made blog-system is a fact.
We have tried to create a system that will make it a lot easier for you to write about things you want to share with others in ML, without spamming the ingame Newspaper, with some great formatting-options, a simple but safe way of letting you upload pictures you can use, and a recognizable interface when you write.

It looks and works like any word-processor, so no more cryptic codes like [b] and [color=red] tags.

There are some important things to remember if you decide to create your own blog:

All our rules about "suitable content" applies.
Any attempts of uploading porn, material that can offend people, or illegal / copyrighted material will result in immidiate closure of your account, your team and your blog.
Even if you do not physically upload it to our servers, linking to the kind of above mentoned material will result in the same as if you had uploaded it.
"I just wanted to test the blog-system" is not an excuse for violating our trust and uploading or linking to unsuitable material.
YOU are responsible for what you upload, regardless. We know who uploads each and every file to us and will take the required actions if needed.

Other than that, we welcome all kinds of blogs we have thought about, but will let you know if we feel you have posted something in a grey area.

Please keep in mind, we do not have unlimited disc-space, so don't upload images that are too large to fit on the screen (pictures wider than 900 pixels are not recommended). If we see too much disc-space being used by 1 user, we will contact you. There is no exact limit to how much we will allow per user for now, as a good blog updated frequently with good entries are worth their weight in discspace, or so we hope. (-: If need be, we will get some more discspace.
Note: We do not keep a backup of the uploaded material, so don't use us like a "safe long-term storage facility".

We might reward people who write good blogs once we get properly up and running with the system. Please have some patience with us though, like all systems, this one will take a little while to get properly "ran in".

I hope you will let your creativity flow, and also spend a few minutes reading what is on the minds of other managers in other blogs, and that comments will be used frequently.

I will post a "How-to-blog" entry later, but feel free to try it out. You control if you wish to publish your entires or not, and you can edit it later anyway. You can delete your entries at any time too, or delete comments made with your blog that you do not want.

A blog is a place on the net where you can write about what you like to write about.
You can upload pictures, express your opinions, and receive just or unjust comments from others....
In a space YOU control.

Thats all there is to it really :)

Quick Question for the blog organisers. In a post i put on just now entitled Life Lessons, i used the word (which i will spell to prevent misunderstanding) s.u.c.k.e.d. It has somehow been covered in stars to read ****ed. This, if censorship, is rather unfair, because the context in which i used s.u.c.k.e.d was in no way offensive, yet by placing stars over part of the word it suggests that it was? Could someone give me advice on this? Context is all important when it comes to causing offense.

Sorry if this is not where i should place this, but i feel it needs to be said.
