 Once again, a new season is ahead of us.
Last season went great, and we had our first Champions League winner ever, whcih is a nice milestone.
As always, there are some new things, and some things you should know about...Read it all, this stuff is IMPORTANT!
1: Changing leagues
It is now possible to change leagues under Options / Preferences inside the game.
However, this does not mean that you can change to where you simply "wish to go".
From this point on, people may only move to leagues they belong to.
If you live in Norway, you play in the Norwegian league.
If you live in a country which doesn't have a league, you play in the International league.
If you live in a country which doesn't have a league, but we have a league where people speak the same language as you do, you may move there.
People violating this rule will be moved back into their correct leagues suddenly and without warning.
Sorry for the rough tone, but this is how it has to be. Norwegian or English players winning the Indonesian league is not something we want.
If you already play in the "wrong league", you should strongly consider moving into the "correct" one. At some point, we MIGHT move everyone to their rightful league.
We hope this will be appreciated as it is for the good of the game and for everyone.
2: News and updates
* Ghana has been added as a country (not league) with it's own player-names
* Bosnia and Herzegovina has been added as a country (not league) with it's own player-names
* Austria has been given a unique name database, no longer using the German one
* Iran has been given a unique name database, no longer using the general Arab one
* The portal team-info page now shows the correct trophies and the correct wealth-rankings
* New sponsor available: Coca Cola! (more on this later, and it might mean more free credits for YOU!)
* New sponsor available: Nettavisen Fotball!
* Our translators will now have access to a new ingame translation tool, right here inside the game. Easy to use, and more efficient. This should ensure better translations for every Non-English user.
* Many sponsors have been re-tuned so check the numbers carefully!
* A new User Manual, in several languages! You can check it out at http://manual.managerleague.com. There are still many unfinished languages, but at least it is pretty close to complete in English, Norwegian, Spanish and Romanian. Possibly a few more!
(There is no need to register at the manual-site unless you are a translator)
* A new payment platform has been implemented, supporting a variety of options, like iDeal, Bank-transfers in Netherlands and Germany, Maestro-cards (coming very soon), with more payment methods being added continuously.
* Bugfix in regards to scrolling in the new match-viewer
* Bugfix in regards to "skipping" in the new match-viewer (Thank you, Dead Heroes)
* Argentina has reached a sufficient playerbase to get a league of their own
* Division 5 created for Turkey
3: The rules!
The short version is:
- You can only have or access 1 account.
- You may not trade players with people using the internet from the same school / home / computer / office / internet cafe and so on
- If you ACCEPT an insane bid for a rubbish player, both the bidder and yourself will be closed for cheating. Nobody bids 10 times the value for a rubbish player. If someone makes an "artificial bid" on one of your players, contact support and we can remove it.
4: Have fun!
And that's an order! ManagerLeague was created for the sole purpose of being entertaining. Be nice to others, behave in the forums and in the chat, and we will all have a better time in here.

| I'm from Sweden but I play in the English league because I love English football and close to hate Swedish football, our real league “Allsvenskan” is boring as hell. So if you force me to move to the Swedish league I have to play in a league that I mentally disgust.
I’m all for moving players who only play in smaller league to win, but if you move me I have quit you game.

This "moving my team suddenly and without warning" is rude itself (not just the tone) and it sounds as a threat and not as a warning.
Since you "order" us to have fun, you better let us have. Threatening us won't make the game neither more exciting nor more fair. If you decide to move any team by force (which means you're forcing us to quit the game), it would be clever to find a way to give our money back, don't you agree!!!
Now it's my turn to apologize for my tone but one thing comes after other. Playing on a League of our choice is not cheating. Please reconsider this new rule.

 | Just join the league of your country or the international league , if you find this so hard to grasp you need to understand the following. This and the last season we have the Champions League. If you are in DiV1- dep 1 and you cant get into the CL fast enough you just have to change leagues to a smaller league. And because you have a team wich could be in div 1 dep 1 international your team just promotes with ease in this smaller league. Giving you a CL ticket which is normaly reserved for people of that country. If that isn’t cheating then I don’t know what is. If you say ill quit because they are forcing me into the right league then do so and stop cheating aswell. |

 | If your country does not have a league currently then you should be in the International League.
If your country has a league, then you can choose to play in either your country league, or the international league. Exceptions may be considered if you have a special link to a country that you do not live in.
People who are playing in a small league who have no reason to be there other than that they think they can win easier there can expect to be moved. If you're good, then prove it against your home teams first and qualify for the Champions League.
Remember: Everyone, regardless of country, is welcome in then International League. |
