In the middle of these days with noticeable growth, match-simulations taking a bit long, a buzzing forum with suggestions and whatnot, it is time for a little update from ManagerLeague H.Q. What is going on? What's in the pipeline and what to expect? What we are doing now As you should have noticed, we are taking on more players every day now. This means the load on our systems will only continue to increase, and we need to take time to find solutions for this. We may need some new hardware, but we certainly need to optimize bits and pieces of the system. Unfortunately, I am not a full time database administrator, and lack some of the knowledge I require, and so I have to spend quite a bit of time on research, testing and tuning of the database, and so on. It is only in the hour between 15:00 and 16:00 that we have any load-issues, as everyone logs in to look at their recently played match and play friendlies etc. The rest of the day it is totally fine. This means that there will be few "addons" made in the nearest future, but there are some in the pipeline. International Cups A champions league type cup , and a cup-winners-cup should be up and running as son as we have league-champions in all leagues. This is still two season away, thus this feature will wait just a bit longer before I start working on it, but it WILL be ready on time 
Some problems you might want to know about There are a few issues now that have been reported, so I figured I should inform the lot of you about them. - Double bids Somehow, on rare occasions, some bids are placed twice on the same player (same amount etc) We are unsure how this is possible, but it is probably related to bids placed in the hour between 15:00 and 1&:00 when the system is a bit too loaded. It is fairly harmless, and if one of the bids are accepted, the other one will vanish. You can also safely withdraw one of them , leaving the other intact. - Team Selection / Sort by XXX / Drag'n drop If you order your players by anything other than position on the team selection screen, using the drag and drop substitutions will mess up your team in rather unexpected ways. While we need some time to sort this one out, we recommend you do not drag players around if you have them sorted by anything but position (the default sorting). National Leagues Most of the national leagues keep growing too, with more players joining their right leagues every season. With a few more players from a few countries, we can open up some new leagues too, so keep on bringing in your friends! Thats a quick update at least, to keep you informed But as always, stay tuned for surprises
