Moving into national leagues <--Back
picMoving into National Leagues

If you have not already, it is time to consider picking your new league. You can do this inside the game under Options / Preferences.

Here are some details you might wish to know about in regards to moving your team over:

1: Teams are moved between seasons, so if you do not pick a league now before this season ends, you must wait a whole season before the next moving happens.

2: The new leagues will be filled from Division 3 and downwards. However, this is just this one time. Next season and all seasons to come, we will fill up from Division 4 and down. Yes, it makes sense to move NOW, not later

3: The higher your current division now, the higher up in the new league you will be. Since Division 3 holds 256 teams, the top 256 teams miving into that league will take those places. This means, that if you wait until the season after to move, others will have a head-start on your to try to get to the top. So, the sooner you move, the bigger your chance of climbing is. Practically speaking, those who move now have a chance of promoting from Div3 to Div2 in the next season, while those who wait will be moved into Div4 or lower...You do the maths

4: When your team moves, it will be replaced by a BOT, controlled by the servers. This means that those staying behind will also enjoy a little easy competition for a while, until the bots have been relegated.

5: Not to worry, you get to keep your players, stadium and everything you have fought so hard for. Nothing is lost when you move, you just play in a different league.

6: Which league to choose? For those players from the countries who got their own league, this should be a simple choice. For the others, however, this could be a bit tricky. We have asked people to move to a league to which they have "special ties", but having a good friend there that you want in your league is good enough. And remember one important thing: When the time comes for opening more leagues for countries that didn't get a league now, we will allow people to move into that one, even if they have picked a different league now.

7: New teams will be able to join specific leagues when they sign up, so they may skip the International one altogether and go straight to their wanted league.

We hope that players will find it worthwhile to move to their natural leagues, and that coming features like Champions League, Cup-winner-cups etc will be a cool addition to this international game.

pictureHello Spinner, Do u think there will come and Danish league in near future or will it take some time as it look today?

If no....I will consider Norwegian league (since I actually live here). Swedish league is diffintly not in my mind after last Euro match

By : cellinisI want a French league too   12:32 29/06 2007
pictureThough I'm Indian (can't see an Indian league happening soon!) since I live in France, I would like a French league too!

By : liqnice   12:58 29/06 2007
pictureNow I just keep on waiting for Finnish league

By : lewokScottish League..   13:48 29/06 2007
pictureWould be nice... or you could have made it a British league....

By : Ca2ANSWERS!!   14:00 29/06 2007
pictureI can answer a few question here....

If your league aint here yet, you may choose one that's allready here, then change when your respective one comes...

As for when these league will come, only spinner knows the amount of teams, BUT i know that what'll make it happen, is enoguh teams from your country, so get 1000 more danes, and we got our danish leageu comming soon enough...

the reason for this is that it'd be no fun playing in a league if tehre was only 50 teams in all 5-6 divisions, right??

I hope this was at some help

Ca2

Will teams from international league qualify for CL?

By : kjeksinternational to national   16:11 29/06 2007
pictureIf you qualify for a promotion after a year in international league, and then change to national, will you then get into national league a division higher than in international?

By : Antygocool   18:01 29/06 2007
picturebut how can i chose to be in my national league? that i coudn`t undestand

By : gökTurkish League ?   18:13 29/06 2007
pictureway not Turkish League, i want move to Turkish League

By : SpinnerLeagues   19:00 29/06 2007
pictureWe wait until we see at least 300 active teams from a country before we create a League.
The Dutch League is probably not far away.
The Danish one has 200 teams to go, active teams mind you.
The Finnish is a long way off for now, and the Turkish one even longer.

Answer to an asked question:

So, if I understand correctly, if I decide to move to a national league (let's say the English one), I'll be able to change when the French league is opened, won't I?

Yes, provided you select France as Country (you can set your teams Country in the ingame preferences screen too) and make sure you have chosen France as your country in your account-preferences, yes, you can move to the French league when it comes.

Champions League
I am unable to answer specific questions about this yet, as it has yet to be implemented.

pictureYou can move to a national league from "Options / Preferences". It is written right on the top of the page!!!!!! (I've already done that.)

Good Luck!

By : RaajaRe-Think the Rule   13:51 30/06 2007
pictureI dont know why there is restriction on players when they choose which league they wanna move into... and the so called 'SPECIAL TIES" needs proper definition. Why should the game restrict someone who wants to play in a league of his choice.. Its a not a CRIME like having more than one account....

This rule will anyways be broken numerous tmes. So, why implement it in the 1st place ??
Doesnt Arsenal, Barcelona, Real Madrid all have coaches of nationalities different that the club itself.. This rule really doesnt make sense.
Spinner.. u really should take note of this and try to withdraw this rule.
