Season 22 <--Back
pic
Once again, it is time to look forward towards a new season.
As some might have heard, I have been in hospital for 9 days, so things have not gone as planned at all. Thus, the number of changes and improvements is very limited.

The plan was set, but theory does not always work as planned
Originally, we didn't plan a lot of updates, none actually, because I was going to lock down the code while starting working on some bigger changes (national leagues being one of them). However, for reasons to do with some partners and business-relations, some changes were required still, and so I did those.
I also had some new lists of player-names for different countries that people have requested in the game, and so I added those as well.
In addition, some admins had asked for some more tools to work with, so those were also implemented.
I then managed to fix the strange "time-bug" that made match-reports look funny if more than 10 penalties were required to find the winning team in a cup-match.
Finally I managed to add a few new smileys to the forums / notes / messages and fixed a couple of very minor bugs here and there.

And at that point, easter came knocking, and so did my hospitalisation, which introduced me to, without comparison, the 9 most painful days of my life. I'll write something in my blog about that later, when I have more energy.

Anyway, with my own body and psyche still far from working, and strict orders to do nothing, this will be a rather clean and simple season-change.

Thursday
Thursday morning, after training, the game enters season-change-mode and is unavailable for a while, as usual. I will then, hopefully with little effort and few problems, perform the season-change with the added changes, fire up the new season, and open the game back up some time in the afternoon.

This weekend will hold custom cups as usual, and then the league will begin on Monday morning with training at 09.00, also as usual.
At that same time, I should be back at work again too, hopefully working at 100% capacity again.

I thank you all for your understanding about the limited changes this time, and the extra delay some have experienced with some manual credit-purchases, there was nothing I could do at the time, except beg for more morphine.

But with all that behind me now, I hope Season 22 will be a good one, and we shall see whether we are forced to add a seventh division or not, yet.

Good luck to us all.
