![]() Even after the last 2 seasons serious optimisations, we see that page-access is a little "syrupy" during our peak hours. This is nothing dramatic, but something that we will look at improving over the next weeks. So just try to be a little patient during "peaktime". We're on the job! For those keen on technical details, I can add that we, during this peak-time, serve an average of 7,8 requests per second. Since this is the average number for the entire hour between 15.00 and 16.00, the actual peak is estimated to be about 14-15 requests per second, and this is hard on the backend webserver that deals with the page-logic. A hardware upgrade is likely to happen here, but I need to go through a few things to see if there are any "quick" optimalisations that I can do to increase performance before we blow thousands on a new server. Rest assured, we are on the case, and we will "stay focused", we will "be on the job" and we will "stay the course", whether we find any "weapons of mass destruction" or not! ![]() Jees, not only do I have to be creative, add new features and run a game, I have to see to the bloody servers as well?? My job-description is 100 pages long, at least! ![]() - Spinner |
