![]() Allthough a full week is left of season 13, it's time to let you have an idea of what to expect in the next season. Once again there have been a good deal of backoffice work gone in, to aid Chairman in his work, but there are a few niceities for us all in there..Here is a sneak peak.. Transfers: - Some work have gone into a couple of anti-cheating mechanisms when it comes to artificial bids and people trying to cheat with multiple teams. This is now a bit more hard ![]() - I have also, by request, added a way for you to set a "minimum bid" value with each player, so any bids lower than that will simply not be allowed, and the bidder will receeve a message stating the minimum bid value you have set, if any. - In addition, players can now actually refuse to join your club, if they are happy where they are. This is the beginning of a more sophisticated system for dealing with a players happiness and own morale, and the system will be expanded later. For now though, this is all you get to know ![]() The Forum: The ingame forum is continously growing and the ML-Team has convinced me we could do with some more features. Some of them are: - A new forum frontpage which is slightly better than the last one - A more intuitive order fo the forums - Better admin-tools for dealing with the forums for us - Forum avatars can now be used, you will be able to upload your in yoru ingame preferences page - Forum-posters can now brag of their post-count / spam-count whatever you wish to call it ![]() - You can decide wether you wish to see avatars of course, one click turns them on or off. Custom Cups: You can now create cups for a specific department if you like, you are no longer forced to include 2 divisions. For example, you can make a cup for just 2nd div, or for all divs, or for divs 4, 5 and 6. I am also working on another improvement to the cup-system to make them better and more intresting to play, but I am not 100% sure this wil be finished in time. Other things: - Various smaller bug-fixes have gone in - We wil once again try to improve the speed of the simulator by some OS-upgrades while the servers are down for the season-change, so a few extra hours of downtime can be expected while changing seasons. Thats about all I planned to reveal to you now, but I hope you like what you see, as always. Good luck with the end of Season 13! Added later : As usual, here is what will happen the next days: To MOST managers, the season is fairly over at this stage, as we have passed round 30. So why bother going through all these extra rounds?? Round 31: First playoff match-round + Training + Friendlies Round 32: Second playoff match-round + Training + Friendlies Round 33: Third playoff match-round + Training + Friendlies Round 34: The League Cup finals (The league cup is for divisions 1-4 only) + Training + Friendlies Round 35: The department cup finals + Training + Friendlies + Trainingcamp Round 36: Nothing except transfers being completed, training and friendlies Round 37: This is the end of the season. It ends with training Thursday morning at 09.00 and then it's shutdown-time: At this point, the game goes off-line for the season-change, which is where you just wait and I work really hard to put in all the changes, updates, optimisations and database-modifications and prepare for next season. This time, we expect to be completely offline for all of thursday and most of friday. Updates as we progress are posted on www.managerleague.com though, and probably in the chat too. If you are new to ManagerLeague, this end-of-season periode is a very good time to play a lot of friendlies to give your players extra experience, better stats and to ensure your clubs financial situation is ok.
