As most of you have understood by now, this weekend will be somewhat different from what we are used to here at ManagerLeague HQ. We are moving, and so the servers will be down.
We have tried to time this to a season-change so the impact for everyone will be as small as possible, but there are a number of things that must fall nicely into place.
The most important things...
* When the season ends, the servers will be dismanteled, packed up, and prepared for transportation.
* We will leave one server running on http://www.managerleague.com with a "we're moving"- page, which will also hold a link to the new location once the servers are up there.
* This temporary page will also hold any special information we have to share over the weekend, in the event something goes wrong etc.
* Due to the delay caused by Name-Servers across the net, we are not sure when everyone will come to the right place when they enter our address. We have done all we can to minimize this problem, but we can not control name-servers beyond limiting the expiry-times of our entries.
* Hopefully, everything is back to normal Monday morning, and we can then announce that Season 12 is about to begin.

 | I am a bit tense myself in regards to the move, but I hope everything will go ok. It is a bigger project than you'd think moving from one location to another. Servers, IP's, DNS's, expiry times, temporar setups, temporar forwarding, backups, hardware-upgrades, etc etc.
All in all we're moving a quarter of a ton in hardware, upgrading one server to twice the speed and capacity, reconfiguring 8 servers, reconfiguring 8 domain-names, 3 internal networks (for security reasons), changing ISP, setting up a new firewall, and whatnot...
So enjoy your weekend, while I work my butt off 
And btw, I hear you are promoting to the top div without buying any credits...not a bad acchivement in todays hard competition up there! |

 | ...it's a hectic job. I filled a huge whiteboard with notes whilst relocating 3 servers with many websites in my job. It's a hectic and difficult job, moving websites. And the funny thing is, if it all goes to plan (And I'm sure it will with Spinner behind things) then nobody notices much has changed (apart from the extended between-season time). And because nobody has noticed anything chance, they don't thank you.
So when none of us are aware much has happened, that's when you should be happy with what you've done. When I moved the servers my colleague at the desk opposite didn't even know I had done the move. I quietly smiled to myself.
