Italy won the World Cup tonight, so job well done to them and all that. I'll deal with that in my blog, as it is not really all that ML-related.
However, the Finals also put an end to our World Cup Competition, where Pega5u5 and Shoogy have been ahead for the last games. Surprisingly enough, they both had the exact same guesses for the last matches, so they ended up with a draw at the top.
JC_Merlin and pglee ended up with the same number of points here too, which means I will extend the top 3 prizes to include all top 4 managers. I know pglee actually won a t-shirt earlier too, but what's fair is fair. He will have two then, and can use them every day, one while the other is being washed
This also means that since Sir_Bobby_Robson and Manu© both had 92 points, they get the 25 credits each.
To my great surprise, I see that I have managed to end up as the drawn winner of the 10th place, so I am chuffed to get my hands on a few extra credits
Which means, JWICK, Badaboom, Nirda_Doc and myself, all get 10 credits. Yay!
It seems this was a fairly popular competition, as 945 players took part in it. I guess that tells us that we should do this again some time, both for the European Cup, Champions League and god-knows-what.
Credits will be handed out shortly, and t-shirts will be sent one of the nearest days. And if you haven't remembered to punch in yrou address in the My Account page, well, too bad, no t-shirt.
If you didnt win a t-shirt though, you can buy one at our shop.
