The summer is upon us, with all kinds of action. BBQ's, beaches, babes and hunks, swimming, fishing, sailing, poolparties, beachparties, football, vacations, camping, flirting, cold beer, long evenings, and of course, the occasional training-camp and friendly match.   
The World Cup is still running, as is our World Cup competition, the 10.000 teams barrier has been crossed, the price on credits has been halfed, and the activity in the chat keeps increasing (slowly though). So now what?   
In 2 weeks time, ManagerLeague HQ is moving. We have been lucky to get access to some offices downtown where we have been able to rent some nice space for not too much money, which also included a very nice server-room for our sweet boxes. It also happens to include free use of the coffee-machine (haha, they REALLY do not know what they are doing!) Such a move is not a small task, and it is scheduled for the weekend July 15th and 16th. Yes, this means DOWNTIME! It also means that we may suffer some problems for a few days while DNS's around the world discover that we have a new IP-address. We will try to make the problems as invisible as possible, and be sure to give sufficient information in all places we can. This might mean a slightly longer delay than usual between the seasons, but we will not be horribly specific with dates and times on that yet, as something COULD go wrong during the move. On the positive side, after the move, we will have twice the bandwidth (which is needed between 15.00 and 16.00 already) and our servers will be in a much cooler and better environment than today. Also, with 2 desks in the new office, our owner and chairman (Chairman of Fifth Season ) will devote more and more of his time to ManagerLeague, taking over sales, marketing, advertising and paperwork, freeing up more and more of my time which I can and would rather spend on improving the game and the service for you all. Trust me, this is good news! It means Chairman will invest both more time and money in ManagerLeague, so you'd better show some support by purchasing some credits! 
Right now, I am developing a BLOG-system for us, which will be placed on the portal for starters, so everyone can have their own blog and write about whatever they want, upload pictures, etc etc. I hope to finish that this weekend, so maybe you can see it on monday. We will also have special "official blogs", which means "special blogs about ManagerLeague", and special lists of "recommended blog entries" where a team of blog-readers can recommend special entries. I've implemented quite a nice editor for you all, so you can create blogs like you would write them in Word, using colours, styles, images etc through a WYSIWYG-interface, like Word etc. But as for game-changes, with the exception of the friendly-limit and some fixes, don't expect much this summer, with the move happening, and my much needed 2 week vacation in august. With the World Cup competiion being so popular, I am thinking about expanding the concept a bit on those, for things like Champions League, and perhaps even national series or cups for our biggest nations (Norway and UK for starters I guess). We shall see. I'd like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very nice summer, make sure you chill out nicely, and set your players to rest while you are away (or take your chances and put all team-training slots to rest in stead maybe). That way, you don't have to ruin your vacation with keeping an eye on the clock all the time.
