Other improvements - New domain-wide cookie-handeling (Note: If you have problems with logging in, try to restart your browser, or manually delete your managerleague-cookies) The reason we had to focus a bit on optimisation is of course the nice growth we are seeing these days, and the desire to provide a fast and stabile service. To lower the simulation-time with almost 20% is a nice step in the right direction, specially considering that we are adding more processing-power in about 1 month. We also have our first non-bullshit sponsor, a Norwegian football-site will enter as a proper sponsor ingame. Soon, we will also now start preparing our move, which is scheduled to happen between season 11 and 12, which will mean some downtime and some hassle for us. We will move into a proper office downtown, thanks to our investor who belives in ManagerLeague enough to invest some more money in us. Apart from a weekend with downtime here and there, it will result in - A better internet connection (twice our current capacity) - A better working environment for me which again leads to - A better game for you I know people have asked about "What happens when I go on vacation this summer", and that our reply has been "Use the mobile interface". Also as announced, we are working on a big upgrade to this mobile interface, and I hope to have it ready soon, I just got a bit delayed due to the World Cup, some technical problems and whatnot. Details on this will come a week or so into season 11. This season, we will also try to bring more people to our online chat, through a couple of IRC-competitions. If you still have not visited us in our chat-channel, shame on you After seeing the current poll, we have opened up our Gearshop again, hoping that some will pick up a t-shirt, mousepad or mug, to support us. With that said, I would like to thank you all for Season 10, and wish you and your team all the best for Season 11. My own team, The Spinners, failed miserably with my goal of promoting to Div 2, but I will sure try again this season. And if you ever want to play a friendly, just challenge The Spinners, and I will challenge you right back. On behalf of the ML-Team - Spinner |
