We have decided to utilize some of the more modern technologies available for the web, in ManagerLeague. For instance, we will soon release a new version of the Team Selection screen, with drag'n drop capabilities, so you can simply drag players around, and drop them over another play to have them instantly swap places. And as soon as you have done the drag'n drop operation, the server is updated instantly.
We will, for a while keep the substitution boxes in the bottom for those who does not have Javascript capabilities in their browser, but this is temporarily.
We have also made changes to sections like Individual training, and the ML-Mail / Messages section has been completely redesigned to become far more user-friendly. The new ML-Mail page acts much more like a proper email-client, like Outlook or Thunderbird.
These new features are also great for those with low bandwidth, as they have the benefit of much less page-reloading.
We are also going to launch a new Chat, which, through some clever integration method, allows everyone to chat in the ManagerLeague channel with no IRC client, through our "Bot" on IRC. No firewall-problems, and no JAVA requirement. Keep in mind, we recommend using a proper chat client, like mIRC (www.mirc.com), but we will now at least have a simple-to-use alternative for when you just need to hit the chat quickly, even when behind a nasty firewall.
Wether or not these improvements will be launched before next season, is still to be determined, but I am every bit as anxious to get them out as you are to see them
So, look forward to upgrades, and an improved interface!

 | We cant say it often enough:
FireFox and Opera are the recommended browsers for ManagerLeague, and they are both free to download, install and use, with no advertising. Internet Explorer is outdated when it comes to modern web standards, and using either FF or Opera will give you a better, faster and more secure web-experience. You will also get to see ML as it is intended, without slow lists and CPU-hogging hover-effects. |

 | sounds cool... will it be a visual representation of the team on the pitch, ie the layout of the formation on the pitch (and confirmation whether its true that players on the edge of a position play on the wings!) or a table how it is now? |

 | Nah, its not a visual representaion, it is just the list with drag'n drop.
But I wouldnt rule out the possibility for later upgrades with a field and players being placed on their positions, and ths shaping the formation etc.. |

 | Well, wether it's AJAX or not, I am unsure actually.
I do utilize the same Javascript library as AJAX does, but I guess I do not use the AJAX framework (which in my humble knowledge is reserved for Ruby On Rail development, or so I thought... |

 | The new chat system will be a great addition to the game for me, I have a nasty firewall in my office but would love to use it in here. It's not a priority, maybe round 8~10 would be fine???
I would like to see the improvement to Mail a.s.a.p. though.................... |

 | I think the space for team training section is too big. It is difficult for me to select my player. Would you be kind to make it a little bit small... |
